la maison d'anna g. design scandinave.

i've always been a follower of la maison d'anna g's blog. but now she's offering up some sweet product from her new on line store. the line is fresh, interesting, fun, and she ships worldwide. i've selected a few of my favorites here, have a look...
i'm really drawn to the pattern and texture selections whether it be in her choice of fabrics, materials used in vases or candlesticks or lighting. even if you are only selecting one new piece from la maison d'anna g, it is sure to offer intrigue to your spaces.

how are you this mid~week wednesday? i'm working, then working later on a paper due this week (i'm taking one graduate course this summer to keep plugging along). but this morning i'm also treating myself to french coffee and a croissant at my favorite little bakery. so, life is good! i hope you have fantastic day friends, enjoy...

i like this. i like it alot.

what you ask? well, this lower than average and larger than average nightstand/table featured here. love it i tell ya!
imagine the possibilities of what to place on, under or around this beautiful bedside table? the ideas are endless really. and that's what i really love about it.

hoping your afternoon is plugging along nicely. i have a bit of work left, but a chunk accomplished. so it's a great start! enjoy...

rad. seriously perforated & made in america to boot.

hi friends, i wanted to share with you this tuesday, the seriously perforated yet interestingly dynamic offerings from rad. a company making things in america and making them fun. have a look...
i seem to be exceptionally drawn to rad's tables. oh, and to the fact that they powder coat just about anything. in any color. that too.

maybe it's the use of steel? or is the fact that you can customize any of rad's product line, to your sweet little liking? not sure, but i do know one thing...place on of rad's tables, side tables, entry tables somewhere in either your residential or commercial space, and maybe even in a color you wouldn't ordinarily choose, like that punchy, vibrant yellow? you'd be giving your space, yourself, a much needed boost of texture, color, and fun. plus you'd stare at it all day. because you love it. ;)

what are you up to this tuesday in july? i'm feverishly attempting to get caught up on graduate coursework. in between all of that. coffee. an hour in the sun. and trying on this new dress i just bought. (tried it on in their store in boston and it's cuter in person, and fits like a glove, just fyi). love it! enjoy...

it's friday! & kari herer photography.

happy friday friends! i so hope this week was both productive, inspiring and interesting for all of you. it was for me too! i hope to be back to more regular posting, it's a start. i'm feeling stronger, more creative, a little more inspired each and every day, so that's what i'm talking about ;)

so this friday, i happened upon a seriously sweet etsy site, by photographer kari herer. kari incorporates fine art, graphic design and amazing up close photography into her pieces, oh and also there's the flowers. oh, the flowers!...
amazing, right? right! so, now that i'm back, i'd really love to catch up with everyone and ask, what are you up to this very summery weekend? i'd love to hear!

i'm immersed in summer lectures for another graduate course i'm taking (alot behind me, 3 to go!). then i might indulge in a short walk down to the local farmers market near me where my friend tania sell these, and my friends, they are not even funny delicious! after that will have to be a surprise, as i have no other concrete plans. but wine will probably be in order ;) wherever you go, whatever you do this weekend, enjoy!

copper bathtubs. & metals in general.

hi friends and happy monday! i wanted to take a break from my break to share with you a fabulous company, chock full of amazing bathtubs, offering you a giant variety of options if you are renovating or building, residential or commercial spaces. and my favorite from victorian bathrooms? the copper bathtubs. why? you cannot get any more luxurious!
(credits: 1 2 3 4 5)

do you have a bathtub? i rent a little cottage that has been without a tub, much to my dismay. having always been a serious lover of the tub, this has to be remedied one day soon.

one thing i really enjoy considering for tub options is the texture that metal adds to the space. and copper? there is something so natural, so warm and exciting about the material, about the metal. add that to a bathtub? and you have down right spectacular! enjoy...

life under construction...

hi friends, i wanted to stop in and say how much i enjoy publishing this blog each and every day, and that i also enjoy more than you know, reading all of your blogs, so many i've read since i started my own. but at this point in my life, i feel the need to take a break, not a permanent one by any means, as i will always look to this blog as a necessary creative outlet, at least for myself. but right now, having my father just pass away and with some other emotional and large changes going on, i feel the need to work on me, to find my happy. and so my life is, well, under construction.

i know that i won't be able to stay away for long. like i said, i really enjoy the interaction which is share with so many of you. i will be back, i will still stop by and visit many of my favorite blogs, and you know who you are. but for now, i'm taking just a little bit of time for myself. enjoy...

preforated & pretty. mid~afternoon texture.

happy monday friends! i hope your weekend was amazing...this mid~afternoon, i'm head over heels for the texture & super modern style of this perforated coffee table offered up by degas.

you know what? even if your residential or commercial spaces are more traditional, or more classic, entering in or inviting in a more contemporary piece, such as this little number by degas can only add more interesting, more pizazz. that's why i love eclectic, i adore mixing & matching styles, periods & pieces.

do you mix & match? or do you design with or toward one particular style and without deviating? i'd love to hear! enjoy...

fresh pastels and good & pretty.

ooh, today i'm loving the fresh & bold impact of this space, of these pastels, of the intensity of all of that grey interrupted by that splash of vibrant yellow, of that airplane careening down the runway right over your head, i love this all...

(via)
how are you today? i'm a bit all over the place busy again, but stopping in to say, have a really great rest of your day friends! oh!!! and happy friday ;) enjoy your friday night...

a late day post. & classics.

ooh, sorry for the late day post, a bit of running around today took longer than i thought. i'd been savoring this shot, found via and this bag was like dancing with me. it's just simply holding all of those classics, the rolled up, gently worn jeans, that white top, whether it be a t-shirt of something a bit more feminine, such as this pretty number and topped off with the classic black patent leather heels. am i right or am i right? ah, yeah....

what is your go~to classic? is it this complete ensemble or something completely different? i'd love to hear!

as for me, this definitely tops at number one for a go~to classic outfit. i also love a good pair of ballet flats and a short, pretty, dress. you can't go wrong with either! enjoy...

micro cabin. mid~day escape.

this mid~day wednesday, it's raining outside, and this micro cabin posted on design milk, and located in finland seems like a perfect afternoon escape place.

are you interested in escaping anywhere today? if so, where would you go? i'll tell you what, although i'm a run to the beach, or tropical places in general kind of girl, this micro cabin in the woods, has me contemplating a whole new plan...enjoy!
