have a beautiful weekend!

(via)

spring is here, can you feel it? after the crazy year that was 2020, i feel that we are all opening up, like cracking out of an egg shell and that everything is looking fresh and new again. so if we gain that perspective after all is said and done, i guess that's pretty neat.

my leg is healed (last xray this month), i'm back to my beach and my ocean. taking longer and longer walks and so happy that i'm beginning this new year healthy. i hope that you are having a beautiful weekend.

what are you up to? anything fun? you'll find me in the yard checking on my plantings from last year and hoping they made it through this cold winter. writing. sipping wine and reading my recent book purchase (see below).

and some fun finds from around the world wide web:

what are you reading these days? i just ordered this, based on her recommendation.

the sweetest wallpaper. just ordered  this pattern for my dining room. bold & beautiful!

kind of in love with this 3d printed vase.

these vases. i want one of each.

enjoy!

australian-based lovestar is offering up some hand-made heart vases and what do you know...perfect for valentine's day!
helen bayley launched lovestar in 2013, stemming from a love of fashion, the arts and nature. helen has combined these aesthetics into one too cool for school company. oh, her accessories are super fun too. enjoy!

desk designing.

i love the idea of dressing up my work desk, and with vintage french and italian push pins, you cannot go wrong here...
unfinished ash clip & pin tidy. perfection really.
classic brass paperclips would be so pretty on your desk
1950's vintage french pins in original box! (you can purchase similar pins from germany, italy and bulgaria!
doesn't everyone need an italian stapler?! yes...
lovely letterpress number clips
fun numbered push pins
love this vintage wheel organizer!

london based present & correct is offering up some desk gems, new and vintage that will have you throwing out your current desktop junky items. after all, if you are in a position to meet clients, greet guests or hold meetings, near or around your desk, shouldn't it be a place for your own things, not things that just everyone has? be choosy, even when it comes to organizing designing your desk. why not right? enjoy!

p.s. they actually have a very cool instagram site too, in case you are interested.
