have a fantastic week!

(via)

happy lead into fall, how are you feeling? i've been feeling very reflective, moving slow, sometimes frustrated by how much i'm not getting done in a day, especially when i've planned a very productive day full of creativity and progress on projects. hey, i'm sure you've all been there. but instead of beating myself up, i'm embracing the days and the process, what is meant to be accomplished will be.

i hope that you start out the week embracing what you don't know is going to happen. sometimes the best moments emerge and changed paths are all that more interesting.

and if you are interested, some fun finds from around the world wide web:

so much lighting goodness here. but these swinging wall sconces are a dream.
just bought these sandals in gold. because, gold.

more yum, could eat these all. day. long.

haha, why every woman should own a pair of overalls. "overalls empower us to get work done." love that!

lost & found

have you guys heard of the lost & found shops or am i just late to the game? i'm in instant love with this line. founder jamie rosenthal opened this "groundbreaking and innovative collection of shops", in california and in turn an "off the radar shopping experience" developed, an opportunity to peruse unusual, small boutique pieces, each one feeling more special than the next...
these were a few of my favorites but seriously, i could have just posted every single thing that lost & found currently offers. just so gorgeous, all of it. see way more here, & enjoy!

lekker home

based in boston, lekker home is inspired by dutch design, and after founder natalie van dijk's homelife in amsterdam where she was surrounded by the color and textiles of a warm, yet modern european appeal...
"lekker" is dutch for "alluring, enticing, and tempting" and i was tempted by these pieces today, but it was hard to narrow down what to post about. and i was particularly drawn to many naturally toned pieces, with hints of metallic or soft pink hues. for this line of design, i thought that each piece shined through better without the distraction of color, (just hints of color) at least in my opinion.

if you are in boston, check them out in person, here. if not there is a lot to have fun sifting through on their site, here. & enjoy!
