monday & arrow home.
the australian home store arro home is offering up some super fun & bold graphic cushions...
i first found these through miss moss's blog and as she said in her recent post, they are probably meant for kids or kids rooms. but also like she said, who cares?! they're fun and yes, i too would like pretzel cushions scattered all over my house.
i just bought this sofa, in "impact mist" and cannot wait for it to arrive! it's going to be delivered next week. i'm thinking of literally throwing out every pillow i currently have an ordering a few of these. for fun. and because pretzel cushions are awesome. enjoy!

lorna love.
lorna love, a new zealand line of graphic pillows caught my eye today...
i know i've said this before, but changing out pillows is something so simple and easy to do. it rejuvenates spaces, transforms them, easily, quickly. and if you tire of a look, a pillow, change it out. voila, instant face lift for your spaces. these lorna love pillows would certainly add a little pizazz to spaces that lack it. if only for a little while...enjoy!

sabine rohse wallpapers.
these are fun. these floral wallpapers, whimsical yet wild, energetic and complex in pattern. sabine rohse's papers are bold, graphic and would make a super fun addition to any space, residential or commercial...even if only on one single wall.
i lately fluctuate between striving for more subdued spaces, calm, sparse, white, all white...to feeling as if i'd be missing out by denying myself at least one bold piece in my space, one bold wall, one wow something in my space. this sabine rohse wallpaper would do that. for sure! enjoy...

occasional furniture. by zeitraum.
happy monday morning friends! i hope your week is already starting off with a positive bang. this monday i'm finding the occasional furniture offered up by zeitraum anything but ordinary, anything but occasional. in fact, i find these new items by zeitraum exciting.
from their "morph" line of printed chairs, to the influence and "design language of scandinavian classics," zeitraum gets it. their product line is flexible toward both residential and commercial environments. bordering between utilitarian and comfortable. between contemporary and classic, between quiet and attention grabbing.
i love that about companies like zeitraum. the flexibility of their designs. the fact that design and designs are suitable for so many spaces, occasions or personalities is what makes a great company even stronger. enjoy your day!

two designers. and cork.
i've always really enjoyed the medium of cork. in small amounts. two designers, who claim on their site that they are "somewhere between hell and paradise" (i love that by the way!) have an overall edgy~ness to their approach, their graphics and their interior design (yes, they do that too).
obviously influenced by street art, graffiti, rough and experienced spaces, spaces holding traces of life, two designers also enjoys spaces that offer a definite nod to the future.
two designers also links to a really fun blog. full of new works, works in progress and videos that let you in, allow you to experience the creative process, somewhere between hell and paradise. enjoy!

getting graphic.
obviously inspired by art deco but more experimental, more conceptual, ruth vissing creates graphic alphabets. spell what you want. your initials? a word you just like the sound of? something seasonal? or maybe the letters don't have to mean anything at all. you just like them.
so even if the letter you like isn't for a reason, let's say that it doesn't necessarily say anything, still...the dynamic of the line, the color impact, the sort of 3d textural quality that the graphic offers to any space is plain ol' fun. at least that's what i think ;) enjoy!

pretty as a picture. postcards.
these beautiful postcards offered up by the shop of little green shed are just pretty as a picture. i swear, i'd just send them to everyone and anyone, just to say hi.
i really like the soft/colorful/geometric/graphic shapes placed over the natural black and white imagery. which one's your favorite? i'm partial to the first one. but i really love them all...enjoy!
