for fall.
lately loving this feel, these looks, for...dare i say it already, fall.
(links)
an no surprise that i've posted completely neutral tones, i cannot get past them, they are always beautiful, classic and lovely really. soft muted grays, warm subtle browns, and the blackest of blacks for well, every day really.
and trust me, i'm not pushing the season along. i just know it's coming, that my favorite season (summer) is waning. so i have to prepare, and not a better way than to look forward to looks like these. enjoy!

frances may.
lately loving some of these looks offered up by frances may...
frances may is the carefully curated and combined talent boutique of grandmother connie codding and granddaughter pamela baker-miller. and both call it a "fashion haven." cool right? from brooklyn n.y. to portland oregon they have landed. forging new paths, tempting us with "considered design" (their words, which i LOVE) and just overall fabulous fashion. enjoy!

monday & three bad seeds.
hey it's monday, how are you?
well these will make you smile today...they are "quirky cushions for the home" handmade, and offered up by the company three bad seeds.
i love the name of this little company, founded in 2009 and comprised of amanda weiss, her husband joshua and their daughter marley. they are based in the pacific northwest, and obviously influenced by the nature surrounding them. these are so great scattered on couches, chairs, in baby cribs, on the floor...just about everywhere. i love these today! enjoy...

getting graphic.
today i wanted to share the graphic nature and painterly quality of julia kostreva's pillow covers...
i've posted about julia's pretty & graphic iphone case line, but these pillows pull at my slight pillow addiction heartstrings. how can they not? i wish i had the room for a pillow closet. a space that i could store just pillows and pull them out, change them out at my heart's content. because they add an instant face lift to your furniture, they can instantly, in an either quiet or bold way, offer a much needed dynamic change to your spaces. to have the ability to constantly change them out? whenever i darn well feel like it? i would be one happy pillow addicted girl i tell ya! enjoy...

skandiform. scandinavian sense.
happy monday friends! i hope that you had a super relaxing weekend. i wanted to share this really great line of innovative seating offered up by skandiform...
skandiform describes their product line as having "scandinavian sense." they promote and manufacture product for office and "inspirational public spaces." what i truly love about companies and product lines like skandiform's is that they offer us new options for seating, for great design that translates outside of our residential spaces. companies like this understand that as we travel, work, play etc...we are still looking for comfort but paired with fabulous design lines.
as i notice more and more bloggers, setting up their own offices, truly creating a work space that exudes a personal style, functionality, and includes unique-to- them pieces, i am even more convinced that having choices, having furniture options and great design that works outside of our homes is equally important. enjoy!

bags by chiyome.
i really like these chiyome bags, and i'll tell you why...
anna lynett moss founded her chiyome studio and line in 2012. "chiyome has firm aesthetic roots in the maternal japanese ancestry of its designer. the name belonged to her great grandmother and is the first of three generations of "chi" names in her family."
have a look at chiyome's product line here. her bags are minimalistic, simply shaped and full of sharp lines and smart proportions. also have a listen, if you have time, to her youtube video above. anna is articulate in how she explains what it takes to develop a brand, a look, and why her look is in some senses, gender neutral, clean and minimal and how she determines who her client is. enjoy!

beneath the sun.
beneath the sun is offering up some bold & really pretty pillows as of late. and if you are in the mood for some more color, they have color coming at ya...
illustrator and designer leah bartholomew captures color in a big way and as she puts it "brings happiness to a room." and hey, bringing happiness to a room is a good thing. bringing happiness in general is a good thing. so we like her. and her pillows ;) enjoy!
