the natural qualities of woods and materials such as osb introduce depth, texture and interesting appeal to spaces, residential or commercial. osb is easy to cut, you can literally sculpt walls, book cases and shelving with ease. the board is literally layered strands of wood in uneven and variegated ways. a similar finish to plywood but cheaper and in my opinion, really just more fabulous than plywood...don't' you think?
what are your thoughts on osb? would you use it? in large or small increments? i couldn't find the actual photo i saw in the magazine but inside out featured a bedroom wall, small, and they used osb as not only the wall but it acted as a small headboard in a way. it screamed for art, possibly all framed in white? to pop, to offer compromise design~wise. i thought it an interesting concept anyway. just thinking...enjoy!
