i love this couch below, i want this couch...or at the very least the fabric. and in every color!
silks and velvets and wallpapers oh my! septembers issue of architectural digest led me to osborne and little's fabric and wallpaper site. i was in love with the offerings. they carry their own line as well as lines by others such as nina campbell, liberty furnishings and lorca. while going over the lines of wallpapers and fabrics i couldn't help but want to reach out and touch the rich textures and colors. with so many fabulous fabrics out there it makes me want to learn how to re-upholster a couch! and for every season or something like that. if it was easy i would...but i'm sure it's not. peter osborne and antony little opened a small showroom in london's chelsea in 1968. starting out with exquisite hand printed wallpapers, they were in instant success. "the company then expanded its product range to include fabrics, trimmings, furniture and accessories." their usa head office is in connecticut and can be reached through their site. if i was let loose in their showroom i'm sure more than just my couch would be in for a makeover. the velvets were my favorites, i love texture!
