pop deluxe. live and give the deluxe way!

easy monday fun. pop deluxe features just what the company name suggests. pop culture products, poking fun at kitchen utensils, flooring, toys, gadgets and more. i liked their pantone mugs because i used to work in a screenprinting department of a large company and we were always flipping through those pantone ink colors. so it made me laugh. pop deluxes's lighting is fun and soft, their cardboard trees are cute and perfect for an office desk i thought. the jewelry at pop deluxe is fun too, pop out jewelry (how appropriate) by melissa borell makes for a clever gift. the jewelry arrives in it's own metal square where the design was cut, you pop it out and add it to a chain or earrings or anything really. i liked the designs and colors of her jewelry line. we're not talking diamond necklace here but for fun with jeans and a t-shirt jewelry. there's something for everyone and every outfit. enjoy and happy monday!

piet boon.

the "hot kroon" series by piet boon. outstanding. "because every "hot kroon" is manually covered with polyurethane, the shape of each one is unique. provocative and stylish."

double the fun of these sconces!

piet's outdoor line for those who crave and "active seat."

"the austere study "janzoon" is a comfortable fauteuil with high armrests."

"robust and extremely solid block chair "adri".

"the "sam" series is the stylish combination of modern design with a classical buttoned back."

the "kaat" tables are so beautiful with their metallic glow and are versatile. they can be stacked, or placed next to one another. they come in 2 sizes and 2 colors..."simply chic."

gulp. piet boon, an artist, designer and constructor of beautiful furniture and lighting has taken my breath away today! gone. speechless. ok so you get it. but wow! the lighting (of course) is my favorite with it's drippy melted sculptural chandeliers and sconces. very medieval, very victorian gone punk. so fun. piet boon's furniture manufactured from his construction company launched in the 80's is clean-lined, even, and very nederlands. perfect really. "his focus on functionality, comfort, timelessness and durability has resulted in a global list of clients and projects." a happy discovery and here's hoping you enjoy piet boon! happy friday one and all. we are hoping to hunt for the christmas tree that speaks to us this weekend and begin officially getting into the christmas spirit. once you have the tree all decorated in your house and smelling so seasonally cheerful, christmas spirit kicks right in...

molla space.

fibonacci lampshade. love it.

just for fun!

fun planter for a sprig of holly this time of year!

these little domes will keep your ipod dry while taking a tub or shower, they are a speaker for your ipod as well.

quirky cute clocks. perfect for a child's room.

this cup and saucer would be perfect served with our homemade columbian drinking chocolate we make at the shop. a floating heart of deep dark chocolate...does it get much better?

i first noticed molla space through a talented and kind spirited blogger jorjah-b. if you don't know georgia's blog, you must visit and take notice of her gorgeous hand-made cards for any occasion and of her kind and generous spirit. jorjeous! her blog featured the mug with the diamond band and i thought it was so much fun and wanted to check out more from molla space. so on this grey rainy winter day it's perfect fun pick-me-ups! :)

edge home.

flipping through oprah's "O at home magazine" i came across edge home. located in california edge home offers up whimsical, decorative, intriguing miss matched patterns that play with your senses. my eyes kept dancing around all of the designs. the furniture is fun with pieced-together fabrics creating that vintage look and if added to the right space one of these pieces will suffice as eye catching colors take over, but add to a less lively or dull environment. edge home offers fun mirrors, frames, headboards, furniture and a variety of clothing. check out edge home if you are in need of a boost of color, texture or pattern. easy on the eyes for a sunny monday here on cape cod. happy monday everyone!

bliss. living. home.

i put this photo first because of the fun going on. such rich, textural lines in this bed set, inviting you in. lines everywhere, in the walls, in the fabric and then the headboard throws everything into a new direction, spinning. fabulous texture there and helps to complicate a simple space in a perfect way. love it. color. color. color.

someone stop me. pillow problem ahead! it's an addiction really.:)

rich color, design and fabrics.

winter pillow love.

love these gorgeous sheets, look for more like these here.

flirty fun pillows for the season or for every season.

silky soft and inviting. very soothing space.

a beautiful room of winter whites. just dreamy.

cozy, rich, modern and elegant winter linens and comforters from blissliving home. the sumptuous colors are what first drew me in to blissliving home. i surely could see myself sliding into any of these beds and feeling like a queen...at least for the night! "it started with a quest for bed linens that combined sublime comfort with modern, tasteful design. after searching the world, we realized that we must make our own dream come true — and if we desired it, others did too. And so was born blissliving home.

already dressing many a bed in asia, our exclusive sheets, shams and covers are only now available in the united states. each piece is crafted of fine cotton from the orient, sumptuous silk from india and china or beautiful cotton jacquard from italy." take a stroll through their site or go to any of their locations listed on their site, there are many in the u.s.! reasonably priced in my opinion and for the kind of quality we all seek in bed linens and bedroom accessories, like those gorgeous pillows. i have mentioned i have a pillow problem right? it's a sickness. i would have a house full if i had my way. blissliving's sequence pillows are perfect for the christmas season or any season really. i love adding sparkle to any space as it gives it a little kick and is flirty, it shows you are not so serious, and that's a good thing. but seriously visit blissliving home, you'll want to hit the sack.:)

after.

ok, so here it is! as we evolve there will be tweaking here and there. i wished i had picked up another piece or two of furniture only because i'm already running out of room! lots of chocolate still to come in, especially where we are close to christmas and have to stock for that as well. i was happy with how the wall treatment came out and the lighting. the electrician built the lights for me after i had bought the shades from black and blum in england. i sketched a quick doodle on the back of a piece of scrap paper and he got what i wanted. i think i'm going to have him add one more clump of the lights somewhere in the middle of the shop. we keep it dimly lit, very sepia-ish because i hate bright lighting and no one looks good in it and it's basically awful. so i have ordered amber bulbs which will be in all of the shades eventually and keep the space warm in syrupy in color and feel. i'm happy with the awning fabric and color pick, it has speckles of brick red and darker browns in it so it really picks up the brick facade of the building nicely. i thought putting them up in dark brown may have been a bit drab and wanted something lighter. also the amber fabric which is blocking the long hallway which we use for storage will be replaced with weighty, dark chocolate velvet to hang heavier and not so flimsy. i'll do a before and after of that space in particular soon as well, as i think it will make a huge difference in blocking that space. the ceilings are soooo high that it needs to be hung right up to the rafters!

we had an open house with a wine and chocolate pairing on friday night and it was a great turnout. new faces and old showed up so it made for a fun night. but i was super tired and ended up taking sunday off to recoup. now that everything is set up it will be fun to just adjust things daily and keep up with daily maintenance instead of all of that big work night and day. time to enjoy the space a bit, the beautiful chocolate and the season. i'm working on a website, when it's up and running i'll post the link. hope you all had a relaxing weekend and happy monday! :)
