happy thanksgiving everyone! i have been a bit mia, life, stuff, writing, house hunting yada yada. but wanted to pop in to say that i am wishing you all a relaxing holiday and weekend!

where are you spending your holiday? anywhere fun? i'm laying low this year, house hunting is in full force and a current time taker in my life but i'm embracing the process and hoping for just the right fit soon. when i do, i'll definitely post some before and after images as i make changes to spaces, because we have to right? :)

we are in for a snowy one in my part of the world. might take in a walk here and look for deer tracks. strangely one of my favorite things to do! see lots of deer too, so bonus! and if the snow accumulates enough, might go sledding. plunk a six pack in the snow, meet up with friends on a good hill and voila, a good day! :)

seriously loving the rugs coming out of cold picnic right now...

"cold picnic was formed in 2010 by partners phoebe sung and peter buer, both of whom have backgrounds in fine arts and worked in corporate fashion design" and you can see all of that in the pattern and color play. i am drawn to the ways in which color line or blocks of color are positioned or just how they align or smash up against one another. i also love the leaving of open color space in the rugs.
