i'm spending this morning contemplating transplanting every succulent, palm & plant into any or all of these sweet white and gold vessels offered up over on bloomingville...

feeling these for fall

when i imagine fall and fall wardrobes, i can't wait for layering a bit, and that includes jewelry. i stumbled upon california-based midland shop of "well chosen goods" (love that!) through jesse chamberlain's instagram site and was instantly drawn to their very desert inspired jewelry line...

thin gold chokers, dainty turquoise everywhere, chunky wood and fringed leather, there were so many pieces i wanted to grab and run with. just saying...enjoy!

bold in gold

not just for summer, i'm enjoying this bold in gold line designed by french jewelry designer justine clenquet...

justine describes her line as "a mix of elegence and underground culture with a hint of 90's nostalgia." justine makes each piece by hand and with their classic meets punk (this is bringing me back to when i wanted to look like pat benatar SO BAD) finished product, i'm loving these particular pieces today. to see more of justine's work, head here. and enjoy!

hope birds

the italian design company bosa specializes in ceramics, from lamps to table top accessories to jewelry. all of it hand made, and utilizing ancient techniques and exquisite materials & precious metals such as gold, platinum and copper. but bosa designer jaime hayon's "hope birds" stopped me today...

they are table top sculptures symbolizing the approach of optimism and what lies ahead. "the hope bird stands proud and straight with a dynamic watch-out position toward the horizon, inviting us to reflect on the importance of staying positive to what the future may bring." pretty darn creative. i think that we could all use a little hope bird in our lives, every once in a while. enjoy!
