the eye in design

so the eye, it's everywhere lately, in designer jewelry, clothing, mirrors, wallpaper...you name it. i keep seeing them, popping up and open all over. are you a fan of the eye?

there's even a pink eye, ha! and urban outfitters names their wall mirror the "magical thinking open eye." huh, i'm just not sure that i get it. they sort of freak me out and confuse me all at the same time. maybe they are just for fun and i'm thinking too hard about the whole thing. what's your opinion?...enjoy!
