what are you up to this weekend, anything christmasy?
(via)
i ran out last weekend and bought a real tree! it's early but i just wanted it. i'm really feeling christmas early this year, are you too? it's a fun feeling.

in between staring at my tree at night, you'll find me watching this, considering a quick getaway this month, here, (more maine vacation inspiration, here), and stopping for a beer here. i hope that your weekend is everything that you hope it to be!

and it's friday saturday, so some fun finds from around the world wide web:

this willow chandelier is pretty amazing.

how fun are these do it yourself pom pom ornaments? p.s.: her weaving kits would make fun christmas gifts!

a creative christmas wall treatment.

this white wash cabinet is lovely.

a pretty black bra.

how fun is this moose mug for holiday punch or mulled wine?

i would paper my kitchen in this.

happy friday friends! do you have fun plans for the weekend?
(via)
it's been a buuuuuusy week for me so i'm seriously looking forward to being still & quiet this weekend. it's currently snowing in my part of the world so that adds to my quiet mood (though if it continues...sledding is not out of the picture ;) i hope that you have exactly the kind of weekend you are looking for!

and it's friday, so some fun finds from around the world wide web:

oh, just some rainbow love.

cool outdoor lounge chairs (yes, i'm thinking about summer already).

another awesome boot for winter
.

these suspension pots are super pretty.

metallic skirt love.

serious vintage perfection.

speaking of vintage, this white italian murano glass chandelier is exquisite.

this black and white footed fruit bowl is to die for.

omg, this would be an amazing wedding dress. and that color! beautifully non-traditional.

these look cozy.

ooh, this does too.

i'm probably too short to wear these pants, but they're super cute.

a wow (cough* expensive) sofa. but WOW.

adding flowers to balloons
? how fun!

could live in something like this!

these aerial landscapes are breathtaking.

chocolate & orange goodness.

emma mcdowall

it's spring leaning towards summer, and i keep finding lots of pots to get excited about. these are no exception. scottish artist and designer emma mcdowall is creating these pots in painted concrete. the rough texture paired with the almost sweet color palette makes for amazing vessels for your home (or business!)...
emma also paints and is a photographer. have a look at more of what she is creating here. & enjoy!
