get the look: layered tables

i'm reaaaaally enjoying the look these days of the cascading or layered coffee & side tables...

they add interest in a number of ways. by themselves, standing alone they are just fun and sculptural. they are unique whether the design medium used is colored glass, a mix of wood & metal, or even by utilizing a number of recycled or unusual materials. and by styling them with a number of objects such as trays or books or vessels or decorative finds (vintage or new) changes it up, and what's even more fun is the fact that you change it up any time you want, creating an easy fresh look and feel to your spaces.
