a seattle house tour.

i'm drawn this afternoon to this seattle house tour featured on a clementine daily. it's about the light, it's about the lack of light and it's about an amazing home in capitol hill. (see more photos here.)

it's melissa o'hearns house. melissa talks about minimalistic spaces, which i'm ever increasingly drawn to myself. she talks about the fact that she has trouble starting something new unless the space is clear first...me too. she talks about the fact that the summer in seattle is so beautiful and that winter can tend to suck the life out of you if you let it. me too. so she suggests a winter getaway, to somewhere warm, somewhere where there's sun. me too. i could live anywhere as long as you get me to the sun every now and then, to "defrost" as melissa says. enjoy!
