bits of spaces & places.

happy almost friday friends! when you are flipping through your favorite magazines or websites or design books, do you do this? do you pick out pieces of spaces? and after a while do you feel like you have all the ammunition to create one space? just for yourself or your client, by piecing all of those favorite elements together? even if it's in your imagination? i do that alot!

here are some recent favorite spaces, or bits of those spaces, from lighting, to color palettes to furniture choices to artwork that sent me creating...

i could literally sit at the bookstore for hours doing just that. keeping bits and pieces of spaces and places, storing them in the back of my imagination for a later date. we are all influenced, daily, by outside inspiration. we just can't help it. and not that it's a bad thing. but take those influences and piece them together for something truly unique & original to you. i love that idea!
