to curtain or not to curtain.

so i have a question for you, a design question that is. are you a curtain person or not a curtain person? does your space have big beautiful windows, or small & sweet ones, and if so do you cover them, drape them, swath them in pattern or color or texture or do you leave them naked and just as is? if you incorporate curtains into your spaces, i'd love to hear how...
(via)

this space, rotating around and incorporating so much wonderful line, is exquisite. and the curtains are perfectly dreamy, offering a subtle privacy and control over light. via.

set against a backdrop of gorgeous wallpaper, the ability to mix texture and pattern make this space eye catching and intriguing. this and the one below, via apartment therapy.

how about mixing the look? in this fab space the mixing of textures with the jute shade and crisp border lined drapes add interest and depth. the nature of this space too, the rounded wall adds drama and flare here.

curtains to extend your color palette choice? sure, why not? this beautiful combination via.

what if your choice of curtain or window treatment makes as much of a bold statement as other pieces or additions to your space, whether in a residential or commercial space? here, the choice of length, drama in pattern and color certainly call to this space, in seriously bold style. via.

sometimes the perfect curtain arrangement is short and sweet. like this little number in this really sweet space, featured over at design sponge.

i love this space! the play on white against black. from the large pendant light to that one curtain across the large picture window. via. offering a little bit of privacy when you need it or want it. just really pretty.

i have to say that right now, in my little cottage, i have velvet tab curtains throughout the kitchen and living room, in sort of a camel color and they are full length and drape ever so slightly onto the floor. as far as curtains go, i adore texture (hence my velvet choice, especially for the upcoming season!).
oh! and a fab new site i found for luxurious but cheap curtains is yorkshire linen. at yorkshire linen you'll find tassel tops, ring tops, tabs, a volume of color palette choices and patterns upon patterns to choose from. check them out why don't you? enjoy!
