apollo 8 light.

when i first took a look at the apollo 8 light by gael wuithier of the french design company woodlabo, i clicked right by it. then i went back to the page and it grew on me...

woodlabo manufactures high-end wooden lights (their words) and they, the designers, were also inspired by nasa of the 1960's (also their words). woodlabo states that much like nasa needed, and wanted, to meet challenges, practice high standards and to make possible dreams, so too do they approach their design process similarly.

these lights are great, what's even greater is that every designer featured on woodlabo's site is wearing an astronaut outfit. enjoy!
