california dreaming.

one thing i love about california design is the sort of daring~ness of it all. what i mean is anything goes, color, very modern design paired with comfortable natural elements. it all works. it's all because they dare to! this gorgeous space via best home interior.

industrial meets modern, meets comfortable, oh so very california. this space via a great new find, love & pine.

california kitchen, incorporating artwork, woodwork, lots of cooking utensils, fruit trees, and tons of sunshine. where's the wine? ;) via seismic convergence.

bring a little bit of california design into your home, with succulents, natural elements like stones & grasses. and the addition of a surfboard wouldn't hurt! this amazing image, via, furniture store blog.

when i saw these pieces, by marmol radziner, i thought, yes, perfectly california! this "kings road group", is carefully based on and reproduced through the original vision of r. m. schindler's red wood designs from the 1920's.

i just love the airy, yet warm and comfortable nature these california spaces exude. these via apartment therapy.

so today, as the fall air flows into my half open windows, i'm california dreaming. i hope your mid~week wednesday finds you sunny, happy, cozy, inspired and gearing up for the weekend ahead, we're almost there my friends! ;) enjoy...
