we in new england are recovering from a wild storm, high tides, full moon, windy beyond words. so i'm heading to some coast lines, to check out the aftermath and beauty of it all! in between that, i'll be finishing this book (his writing is just gorgeous in every way), thinking of beginning another sewing project and feeling a trip to ikea coming on.

what are you up to this weekend? anything fun? i've been working on a creative project (will tell you about it soon!) and werk, werk, werk as well. i'm sure you are right there with me! anyway, i hope that you have some amazing, relaxing, do nothing, have fun plans for this weekend.

i am reading this book on the train to work, PURE LOVE. highly recommend. i've been on a pretty insane pizza kick lately, so hoping to branch out this weekend and eat something new and different! in between reading and eating (and red wine!) i'll also be enjoying this rather pre-spring weather we are having in february, the other day was 70 degrees. what?! but we'll take it!

seems like january has begun chock full of positive energy. (i love that!) i have high hopes, lofty goals and managing the flow of all of that is something i am already trying to pace. i'm excite though, for this new year. it feels like it's going to be fantastic, don't you think?!

some things i'm looking forward to this weekend...i just signed up for a new writing course (just for fun!) which begins next week, i'm pampering myself tomorrow (hair cut and color) and hoping that it's not too cold to walk here (one of my favorite places to escape to locally and i always see deer!). in between that you'll find me trying to find a pub with a fireplace, sipping red wine and slowwwwwwwing way down. i hope that your weekend is everything that you hope it to be!

winter lately

happy weekend, how was your week? we are recovering from a pretty epic snowstorm in new england, big moon, extreme high tides, the perfect storm really. a couple of days before the storm hit, i ventured out to take a few photographs, of winter lately, it was the very cold calm before the storm...

i have had amazing opportunities this year. i started a new job somewhere dear to me, i have met new friends, co-workers, i moved to the city, alot of adjustments, changes & excitement with all of that. i've developed a love/hate relationship with the T, i pushed myself in 2017, i wanted to. i really enjoyed 2017, even though, to me, it flew by!

and so a fresh new year is here, how will you build your new beginning? i'd love to hear! here are some goals (some lofty, some not) that i have for the new year, i'm just putting them out there...

i want to adopt a dog.

i would like to volunteer my time.

i want to buy a vintage car.

i want to paint more.

i want to smile more.

i want to plan a long road trip with my adopted dog :).

i want to listen to more live music.

i want to take a vacation to somewhere i've never been with my son.

i would like to try to make one new recipe a week.

i want to be a patron, here.

i want to buy a house.

i am seriously going to bring my blue tooth speaker on the T with me one day, turn the music up loud, and see if anyone will dance with me on the way to work. ha!
