summer splashes.

today i'm happy, happy that my classes are finished! happy that one of my very good friends just had a baby girl named alana! happy that my root canal process is nearly over (at least the horrifying part of it!) and happy that it's cloudy again! huh? no wait, i think i'm just getting used to it. i take it back, sort of. if it has to be cloudy then i'm happy to be running around getting lots of things done that need to get done. but before i head out, i wanted to share some very favorite, summer splashes coming out of the design world my friends...take in the summer breeze with me won't you?

this "breezer" sun shade is not only summer splashy, it's gorgeous no?! so very parasol, so very playing with the wind, with summer light. so very "i want this"! find one for yourself at sywawa.

super summer, this modular wall system, aluminum powder coated, back light it, move it, enjoy the privacy the system offers without closing off the outside world or its natural light (or summer moonlight?!), love...offered from flora.

summer knotted love, designed by llot llov, cocoons your flowers, your summer plants. llot llov wants you to experience the natural growth process, exposing tendrils, roots, through this airy mantle. i want dozens!
one word, moroso. two words patricia urquiola. this tropicalia woven chair line is summer smashing!
a perfect summer splash, these lit umbrellas, very ufo-esque, offered up by skia. super summer fun!

a dreamy summer splash, this "summer cloud" by dedon is organic architecturally, the sun top/shade is independent of the chair, can be detached or swiveled. choose from many colors and fabrics for your own personal splash & summer cloud. ;)

i went gaga when i saw this amazingly beautiful de blur 02 wallpaper, yes wallpaper, offered up from extra tapete.

how is your tuesday starting out? tell me what you are loving about upcoming summer design. what have you done around your spaces, residential or commercial to prepare or get excited for summer? i'd love to hear! enjoy...
