light sensations.

contemporary lighting from propellor design. based in vancouver canada, propellor design creates contemporary lighting with materials such as bamboo and eco resin.

spaghetti chandelier by korean designer zinoo park. "spaghetti chandelier uses commonly found red industrial electrical cord draped over a powder coated wire frame."

orbital light by czech designer lucie koldova. a fabulous pendant light consisting of 2 rings which are lined with led lights.

"scrap" by graypants. jonathan junker constructs scrap lights which are a collection of pendant lights made from salvaged pieces of corrugated cardboard.

the flake lamp by anne boenisch. "flake is inspired by the technology of the manufacturing of styrofoam and plays with the translucid surface of this structure."

concrete tube light from wever & ducre.

happy kiss lights by caleb siemon. "happy kiss lights are reminiscent of another era and play with the reflective and maleable qualities of glass."

the bell light from axo light. focusing on the interior design needs of larger spaces. "featuring a metal structure covered in ribbons of super-smooth, fireproof sponge fabric, the bell lamp is available in 10 different colors."

the beehive chandelier by jessica kay bodner.

"a contemporist is someone who appreciates contemporary design. we focus on architecture, furniture, interior design, lighting and anything else to do with contemporary design."

so yet again, i feel as if i've hit a mecca of inspiration through visiting the contemporist's website. yikes. i love when that happens. don't you?

the contemporist is chock full of fab lighting, furniture, aspiring designers, architectural design and some great miscellaneous items as well. i can't even begin to describe the wealth of talented designers featured on this site! it's a must visit if you truly want to design with unique products whether for your residential or commercial space. some of the lighting is so incredibly fantastic you would want to shop only here because this lighting is one of a kind. enjoy!

I like the "scrap" pendant lights best, but they're all very cool. These sort of images always make me rethink my lighting! :)
