monday pretty things.

big fat bright green leafy pillow from pier 1. perfect on your outdoor furniture.

pier 1 has some bold, vibrant rugs they are highlighting this year. this one makes me happy.

think of the pillows, pads and throws you could add to these fabulous bright red iron chairs from obrien ironworks.

this citrus green desi stool from shop shine home adds an element of color, pattern and elegance to any indoor and outdoor setting.

how amazing is this citrine turquoise pendant lamp? from shop shine home.

more pretty from shop shine home.

i thought this use of old worn oars for hand rails was genius. adds that nautical element in a place where you'd least expect it.

the 'kata' chair from ferlea is organic in shape, and just one of those fun hanging chairs. they come with a variety of materials for pads such as leather too.

these high back chairs from curran are whimsical and wirey fun. they come in bright color schemes. love them.

this bench was on a street corner with a broken leg and really ugly fabric. it got a makeover and look at her now!

there are so many beautiful and vibrant colors everywhere right now. from the trees, the bushes and flowers all popping out to color in design in a big way. i selected a few fav's that i've been staring at and am posting them for monday easy eye candy. hope everyone's mother's day was relaxing and that you were treated like the queens that you are! enjoy :)

Those red iron chairs are so fab--I can just see a fabulous patio featuring them!

And I loved your sweet tribute to your fella--what a wonderful son you have (and a wonderful mom he has!)

Ooh, I love those pendant lamps! And I was on the verge of going to Pier 1 (I used to work there) the other day but didn't. Perhaps that's good, cuz I would have spent lots o' money :)
