bold florals.

get graphic with flooring. don't confine flowers to walls only. bespoke resilient flooring from harvey maria.

statement blind. choose a flat style blind for a greater impact and the large eyelets offer a contemporary styling. fabric by timorous beasties.

bespoke mural. "florals don't have to be dainty." in fact i adore the fact that this wall is bold, direct and stunning in yellow. the peony image from surface view. curtains from casamance.

mixing florals and stripes. contrasting bright florals with smart stipes makes for an eclectic and visual entryway. the bench is by the french house and the wallpaper by camengo.

how interesting is this pierced rubber screen from outgang? offers privacy but still allows the light through and of course those bold floral patterns as well.

all-over wallpaper by osborne & little. "keep the furniture neutral so that the blossoms take center stage."

create a relaxed modern vibe with these chairs from ikea. not a bad price either!

it's been a grey and rainy week on cape cod. i'm in the need of a color boost, so i went and picked up some beautiful rose plants to add to my mother's day chocolate baskets at the shop. i'm not a "basket" person, in fact, wicker and i are not really friends. so at the shop we use beautiful metallic chocolate pottery planters as our "baskets". so the beautiful rose plant will be inside a beautiful planter surrounded by wonderful chocolate. not bad.

today i found inspiration from living etc. and their bold florals ideas. loved them. what a punch they pack and in fact some of the more bold impacts i rather like better. what are your thoughts? enjoy this color punch, maybe you needed it today? i know i did. :)
