ramon todo's sculptures

finding such beauty this morning in the sculptural work of ramon todo...

born in tokyo, artist ramon transforms materials such as volcanic stone, river rock, (& graffiti covered pieces of the berlin wall!) by adding in striking strips of polished glass. the result is such that each piece appears to be a man-made geode by strategically & abstractly adjusting the original, natural object.

ramon is represented here & here (and probably other sites as well) and one has to contact for price. i'm sure that whatever the cost, they are worth it for a piece of ramon's original sculptures. enjoy!
