the home belongs to fiona richardson, it is in australia and was featured in april on
the design files. between the rich tones throughout & many of the large and weighty lamps, chunky floor plants, and well placed furniture, the home is grounded and still. (and many of fiona's pieces have been found, from salvage and repurposed!...talented!)
but then you find exciting nooks with daring wallpapered walls by
fornasetti which i love because every home (and commercial space!) needs a bit of the unexpected, that wow factor, at least in my opinion...
