slits and slats house, san francisco.

this home stopped me this afternoon. it's both striking and original...

the home, designed by mechanical engineer jan moolsintong and industrial designer peter russell-clarke sits on top of a hill in san francisco, overlooking the mission district. full of wooden slits and slats and porthole windows (that open!) the home also has just about the most usual garage door i've ever seen (in 4th photo down) custom built by raimundo ferreira.

an amazing home, done differently, to see more photos, head here. enjoy!
