tuesday fun with b + y design.

i happened upon eleanor young's work through the 100% design london website, here. by the way, the london design site is always a great source of information and inspiration for new and up and coming designers!

eleanor young's work stood out to me, first for her use of shape, then color, then the fact that much of her work is transforming vintage or gently used pieces and giving them a colorful facelift. her personal site is here.

"working under the name, fun makes good, her debut collection is inspired by contemporary architectural forms and fragmented shapes."
"the result is a range of unique statement pieces for design-conscious consumers who take an interest in the sustainable credentials of their home furnishings."

take a minute or two today, especially if your day is starting out grey like mine, for a burst of color from eleanor young's work. you won't be disappointed! enjoy!
