new lighting loves.

i always have to share new lighting loves as lighting is my favorite element in designing or transforming any space, whether it be residential or commercial. please absorb the beautiful creations below one at a time and wonder about them, wonder where you'd hang one, wonder which one, wonder how they'd glow by day or by night. just wonder...

this "bubble chandelier" by lindsey adelman is truly one of a kind, every time. lindey's team designs and builds hand blown glass light fixtures to order in brooklyn.

the simple elegant design and soft glow that these "aurora" pendant lights by niche modern offer are perfect. imagine clusters of them, all hung at different heights and shapes. over a bar or dining tables in commercial spaces, one single aurora pendant hanging unusually low beside a bed in a residential space, so many options with these.

i love the twists and turns this "leonardo suspended lamp" offers by santa and cole for velocity art and design. i am drawn to it's light weight suspension and cloud like appearance. also perhaps evoking a flower bursting with light from above you. super stunning.

i just love the softness and dandelion-esque quality of this ps maskros light from ikea. found here.

"non-random light" by bertjan pot for moooi. i'm drawn to the textural element that this pendant could offer to a space in need of that feel.

how stunning is this "laser lace" light by erich ginder for design public? found here.

"opulent pierced pendant resin chandelier has a natural strong and soft appearance."the "annika chandelier" by oly designed by kate mcintyre & brad huntzinger from lightopia.
enjoy this unique and eclectic variety of lighting on this beginning of a new week. how is your week starting out? happy monday everyone! i have reading for classes to catch up on, i'm about to take a run (now that it's not so hot, i'm back to running :) and then off to classes later tonight. an inspiring day for me and hopefully for you too! enjoy!
