i have to tell you. i have been really drawn to feminine tops lately...tops with ruffles, bows, flowing, lacey, feminine. and i'm not sure why but even around the house i find myself putting on a blouse like that to just feel pretty and soft.
rodarte was founded by kate and laura mullcavy in los angeles in 2005. as their website states, their line is "known for its artistic mixture of high couture, modern femininity, and california influences." their intricately layered pieces are breathtaking, alluring and special. the thought process of a sophisticated pairing of dramatic textures and building to a complete & provocative piece is genius.
