every now and then, a line of simply stunning outdoor furniture makes its way into and onto this blog. today, i'm drawn to this
"tosca" collection offered up by the belgian design company (
though it distributes world-wide, so don't worry!),

according to
tribu, this tosca line is the first line a female designer has created. the shell is powder coated steel and the braided outer coating is made from innovative knitted textilene and polyolefine, making for a super soft, yet water resistant material.
and for me, it's
that material that sells it. sure the design is demure and elegant (hello female designer), but it's that outer knitted shell, that welcomes you in, warms you, comforts you like a blanket. we will all hearken back to the day when we needed comfort at the hands of something knitted, something female-esque.
tribu nails that emotion and that lure here. i just love this line...now i just need summer. enjoy!
