let's talk wood this afternoon. much of the product coming out of the italian based riva is solid wood. and by that i mean literally sculpted from just one piece. these stools/seats all happen to be scented cedar. can you imagine?

residentially or commercially, these are really so simply fabulous. commercially, presented or placed in an outdoor seating area, especially near the ocean, these stools would be evocative of driftwood. residentially, they could be used just about anywhere, even use one as a nightstand or side table.

the addition of chunky woods can bring a space back to nature, grounding your space, providing a familiar & pleasurable texture...reminding you of the outdoors and in its most raw sense. i love that! enjoy...
