i'm enjoying this light this morning, this color palette, that painting over the fireplace & just the serenity of it all.
yesterday, as i vacuumed my kitchen, i realized how sick i was of a throw rug we had, so, out it went, literally into the front yard and then to the back of my love's truck for disposal. in it's place? antique turkish rugs that belonged to my mother but before that, brought back from turkey from my great, great, great grandfather. the kitchen feels more like home now, more open and airy. perhaps why i'm also drawn to this easy breezy space. happy almost friday friends...enjoy!
