the look, the vintage quality they add to the photo, just by being a polaroid. you could take a picture tomorrow with your polaroid and you have instant vintage. it would be special to frame a series of polaroid photos that you love on any wall offering that unique look, and really it's own design. over at english muse's blog, she often showcases scenes taken with her polaroid and for some reason they seem nostalgic and are always super pleasing to my eyes.
the polaroid camera i have, i bought at a yard sale years ago, more for the look and design of it. i keep it displayed on a shelf in an antique cabinet i have. it has the bright blue plastic round cover over the flash bulb, so pretty really. they are pretty little machines. if you have a polaroid, do you use it or display it? would you use it if you could or are you more drawn to modern cameras and photos? i think a little of the old and new mixes together perfectly. enjoy!
