boodalee.

it all came to jeanice skvaril one morning, in 2005 "while putting down my little man for his morning nap, i had an epiphany. standing there in his picture-perfect modern nursery, outfitted with white lacquered furniture and vintage tin circus toys, i began to fantasize about designing for the next stage: his big-boy room. as i looked down and watched him slowly fade off, nestled snug in his polka-dot, kiddie-couture crib linens, i was struck by a daunting thought: “what the heck kind of bedding are we going to outfit your big-boy bed with?” so boodalee was imagined and born. jeanice's background in product and graphic design allowed her to pursue the opportunity of creating a line of alternatives to the "mainstream commercial mediocrity offered by big retailers."

what i love about boodalee are the bright yet easy on the eyes graphics. they are not silly, over the top or too "grown up" for children's rooms, and yet could any of these make their way into one of our "grown up" rooms? hmmmmm. what they are is fun! so have fun perusing her pages of colorful children's wares and wall treatments wondering how they would be received in your child's room and through their eyes!
