woven angled seating.

if you are pressed for space (or even if you're not!) this woven angled seating arrangement is so curiously brilliant...
take handwoven walnut seating, pair it with a substantial marble and timber dining table, accent it all with clean graphic forms and glossy brass and you have, well, this. the UK company efasma is selling this particular piece(s) designed by bureau de change, a "collection of tables and chairs designed with notches in them", as described on the contemporist.

the design firm bureau de change approached this piece as they would their architectural commissions. there is alot of depth, richness, and interest going on here. the line in the design keeps your eye moving, all around, from this angle to that. to lines of fabric to crisp creases of brass. it's just all so great. enjoy!

h furniture.

loving this product line today offered up by the london based company h furniture...
h furniture "works with emerging and established international talent from different creative disciplines." h furniture also works with each client on bespoke pieces, designing for you, specifically, whether it be a particular size, materials utilized, you name it. and if you already love the line of h furniture, why not customize it? flexibility toward residential and commercial spaces is key. so is good design. h furniture has that too. enjoy!

vince camuto. shoe love.

are you familiar with the vince camuto line of clothing and shoes? if i could purchase shoes for fall today, as may as i wanted, i would pick these, from this line...
according to his site, vince camuto passed away this year. his motto or mantra was "life is beautiful, it should be simple and fun." words to live by today. enjoy!

monday & a house tour.

did you guys see this oh so pretty home tour on the design files recently?
editor lucy feagins wrote this piece in august about australian based kylie zerbst and simon murray's collected and colorful home. and if you are a fan of their colorful sense, kylie has opened her own online store called obus. clothing, accessories, and oh those shoes!

back to their home, i've said it before, (so why not say it again!) mixing older pieces with newer is truly perfection. kylie and simon have accomplished a comfortable, interesting and light bright space(s) on a budget (and with a little boy on the way) that as a whole or in sections/rooms turned out spectacular. pattern & color mixed into all of that white, love every inch. enjoy and happy start to a fresh new week!

have a fun weekend!

i'm head over heals cause i'm looking at a vintage car this weekend, to buy...
(via)
i don't want to jinx it by talking about it too much. if i make the deal, i'll be posting about it you can be sure! i've been without a car now for about one month (remember this?), or a little more. i've relied on a rental while making my decision about what to do next and as i've said, once i make my mind up on something it's hard to change it.

buying an older car is stuck in my creative, flair loving head right now. i need/want/must have something with a little style and character. so i'm looking at one (it's a start) this weekend. wish me luck!

besides that, the weather has turned to the perfect running weather for me. but at the same time it's becoming the best stay in bed weather. hence the dilemma right? so i'll be working on getting back into a real routine. once i do, i'm committed. it's just the getting there part. whatever you do, wherever you go, have a fun weekend friends! enjoy...

3 white necklaces.

i really like the texture, shape & color of these 3 white necklaces for fall...
(1,2,3)
pair them with plaid shirts, lace blouses or textured sweaters for an even more interesting look. just saying...enjoy!

clean lines & enne.

lately loving the super fresh and clean lines of product coming out of the turkish company enne. these are a few of my current favorites...
i've lived with a large sectional for the past few years. it too has clean lines but i'm in the market for something in a different style, mid-century modern to modern. something inviting but rather fit in style. enne offers a look that i'm drawn to, stately, easy on the eyes furniture. the kind you can live with, at least for a while...enjoy!
