not dark. light.

i began conversation yesterday with a client who is renovating a beautiful restaurant space in need of a transformation. my design mind immediately begins churning, with lighting. always. it's the first change to a space to have a very dramatic affect. seriously changing the dynamic, the mood, the perception of any space, residential or commercial. have a look at some new innovative lighting and designers...

ah, show~stopping, absolutely, when you need or want to make a particular statement, these "gushing glass" lights from barovier & toso can give you that! here.

out~of~this~world "magdalena" lighting from terzani, here.

these truly amazing pendant and floor lamps stopped me in my tracks. from pallucco, here.

"vento pop" chandelier. for a definite pop of color my friends. from arturo alvarez, here.

this "icy lady" series of chandeliers is completely jaw~dropping no? from brand van egmond, here.

this oh~so~cool table lamp from gubi, here.

this very industrial, urban pendant light. i love the weighty~ness of it. from dark, here.

this has been a busy, yet productive week for me. at times i've been begging for a breather but between classes and meeting with this client and getting together with a friend i hadn't seen in a while, who exudes creativity to the highest, i've been boosted, stimulated, inspired and energized. i hope your week is going along great!? fill me in on your thoughts about any or all of these wonderful lights and what you've been up to. i'm off to study my french, again ;) enjoy!
